Weight I found it nice and it shouldered well but we are all different on this front. This was a considerable investment for me and I chose the gun after reading reviews and taking advice form other shooters at the club I belong to. On my first outing with the gun the cocking mechanism broke less that 100 pellets in to a session to zero my scope.The hft500, fully free floated barrel, side lever (it's good too), large shot count, the stock I really liked it and it's fully adjustable. Weight I found it nice and it shouldered well but we are all different on this front. Having said that the HFT isn't going to move much air past 15fpe without valve and tp porting, likely a heavier spring (no room to shim in AA rifles) and perhaps a modified valve stem/poppet.
